Education and oral health in children as well as taking care of seniors and patients with disabilities in care facilities are particularly important to us.

 

A heart for Peru!

Dr. Philipp Grüner volunteered with a dental aid project in Peru from 17.6.2019 to 28.6.2019. The project was implemented by 2 organizations:

Herzen für eine neue Welt e. V.
A non-profit association which provides children, particularly orphans and half-orphans, and the mountain people in the Andes in Peru with an independent, sustainable future through education, health and a loving home.

Help for the uninsured

Since 2017, Dr. David Kirchhoff has been regularly volunteering with dental treatment teams of the Hilfswerk Zahnmedizin Bayern e. V. and the Malteser Hilfsdienst.

Sponsored by the Bavarian Chamber of Dentists and the Malteser Hilfsdienst, an innovative project has been helping the uninsured in need for 15 years.

Twice a week, Malteser Migranten Medizin in Munich provides dentists and dental assistants for free dental emergency care.

Outreach project of the East Meets West Foundation

In 2011, Dr. Philipp Grüner participated in a dental aid project of the East Meets West Foundation in Vietnam from March 2nd to April 6th.

Physicians work for German Doctors on a strictly volunteer basis for 6 weeks during their annual holiday without any compensation. Since 1983, over 7,500 assignments have been completed.

Together we regularly assist the Pichlmayr senior centre in Gilching. On one hand, the focus here is to pain-free care of its residents, and on the other on training caregivers on good, lasting oral hygiene.

Bavarian Red Cross

We support the "drück dich StaRK" campaign of the Bavarian Red Cross. This project provides training and continuing education for first responders.

The Bavarian Red Cross offers first aid classes. Since for 80% of the population it's been quite a while since they took CPR classes, this is a refresher and provides additional information on cardiopulmonary resuscitation for unconscious people.
